Daily Prayer – Awqat ("the App") is developed by HnN Developers. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.
The App uses your device's location to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla (Kaaba) direction for your area. Location data is used only on your device for these calculations and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
The App uses your microphone and on-device/system speech recognition to power the dhikr counter's voice-counting feature and voice dictation for custom phrases. Audio is processed to recognize speech only while you are actively using these features and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us.
The App may request access to your camera or photo library if you choose to upload a profile picture or a mosque prayer timetable image. These images are only accessed when you explicitly choose to use these features.
Settings such as your selected language, calculation method, custom dhikr phrases, and counter values are stored locally on your device and are not shared with third parties.
The App may fetch general location/place names (e.g. city name) using OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service based on your coordinates, in order to display your location's name. No personally identifying information is sent with this request beyond the coordinates needed to look up a place name.
